 The RPM Show - A Night Celebrating The Motion Picture "Revolutions Per Minute" Music by Robert Glasper with special guest Pharoahe Monch; Live Footage; BrandonYoung
Renowned jazz pianist Robert Glasper (http://robertglasper.com) will perform with the legendary MC Pharoahe Monch (http://www.pharoahe.com) at a unique free show to celebrate the forthcoming motion picture Revolutions Per Minute. The event will also feature performances by Brooklyn experimental duo Live Footage (http://www.livefootagebrooklyn.com), BrandonYoung, and an art exhibit by Samir Arghandwall.
Slated to go into production next year, RPM is the story of a one-hit-wonder rapper from the Bronx who stages an unlikely comeback in Paris in the late 90s. Both Glasper and Monch are involved in the soundtrack to the film, which will consist of original music created by the veteran producer Nottz.
