Hernan Romero

Spiced with the exotic traditions that infuse flamenco-gypsy, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean folk interwoven with textures of classical, jazz, and Latin rhythms, composer and guitarist Hernan Romero's music is both sophisticated and accessible. It is sensuous, passionate, romantic and inescapably infectious.
Inspired by the music of his family from his earliest memory "It's powerful, flamenco is very strong, and has its influence from the Middle East," says Romero. "The other side is the romantic aspect of Latin music, so it's absolutely the best of both worlds."

The impassioned strains of Romero's virtuosity, both as a guitarist and composer, offer listeners a vibrant and exhilarating sound.
Romero's Un Segundo Una Vida brought his flamenco and Latin-based jazz to new realms with the addition of more complex orchestration and additional instrumentation; including the melodic strings of a chamber orchestra, and a wide array of penetrating vocals. Un Segundo una Vida released in SACD was nominated to the Grammy for best surround album of the year on 2001. Romero's CD, Duende, hit number 6 on the Billboard charts (World Music).

While Romero continues to captivate audiences around the world, Romero"s composing and performing skills as a collaborator remain in high demand. Now his latest CD 3 Caras de una Moneda is a must have!!! The production features Grammy awarded ESTELA RAVAL (hernan's mother),AL DI MEOLA on the composition GUITANGO, JERRY MAROTTA from PETER GABRIEL'S band and many more...

Dario Boente

The term "crossover artist" can mean many things. In the case of argentine pianist and composer Dario Boente, it means a musician who is equally at
home performing romantic Argentine and jazz compositions on a grand piano, as he is programming world-beat electronica.

Dario's musical personality energetically bridges the Jazz-club and the Dance-club, and is a direct outgrowth of his own life. Having been brought
up in Argentina and Spain, immersed in the culture of tango and Brazilian music, he pursued his formal studies at the Guildhall School of Music
(London), Berklee School of Music (Boston) , the New School Jazz and Contemporary Music Program (New York) and his social life in the Jazz and electronica scene of New York, Madrid, London and Ibiza.

Currently, Dario leads his own bands "Huge in Japan" and "Projecto Sur", works in the studio as a pianist/keyboardist with R&B multi Grammy Award
winner Joshua Thompson and team up with virtuoso guitarist Hernan Romero.

As a side man, Dario has played and/or recorded with guitarrist Ronny Jordan, Grammy winning Louie Vega’s “Elements of Life” band, William
Cepeda, bassist Pablo Aslan, guitarist  and Ximo Tebar, percussionist Mino Cinelu, and drummer Victor Jones’s “Culturversy.” dj's Louie Vega, Mr V
and producer Kerri Chandler, among others. He performed piano duets with Dave Kikoski and Richie Beirach, and played keyboards on Big Joe Turner’s
European tour.

Boente's latest work, :Solo Piano Volume I", is a singular blend of authority and memorably poetic license.”Dario's performance are full of lyricism, rich harmonies, impeccable technique, rhythm and Jazz
vocabulary, all wrap up with exquisite romanticism.
