On Fri, April 20th NYC's underground, alternative Latin party Nacotheque celebrates six awesome years w/ special guest Indie electropop pixie Javiera Mena Javiera Mena flying in from Chile to join the celebration!  Marcelo Cunning and Amylulita have planned an unforgetable night of musica en Español, dirty dancing followed by large quantities of tequila, naughty birthday cake along with other spicy surprises.

ABOUT JAVIERA MENA:
Javiera Mena is a pop genius. With only two electro-­‐synth-­‐discopop albums released she managed to become a cult classic in the interna;onal pop blog scene. Her last album Mena has been highly acclaimed around the globe, a cool collection of pop anthems and awesome collaborations by Jens Lekman, Kelley Polar or Ladytron. Her show at Primavera Sound was one of the fest last year highlights. She has also played dance driven shows with the likes of Delorean, Kings of Convenience or Mirror Mirror.

ABOUT NACOTHEQUE & THE PRODUCERS:
Since February of 2006 Marcelo C. Baez and Amylu Meneses have been producing New York City's underground Latin alternative dance party Nacotheque. Nacotheque highlights music from all over Latin America and Spain, providing an enviable collection of Spanish-sung music, new and old, popular and obscure of rock n' roll, new wave, indie rock, baile-funk, eighties, electropop, disco, cumbia, punk, and hip-hop.

In 2011 & 2010 the DJ duo have teamed up with Heineken, Camilo Lara (Mexican Institute of Sound), and D’Marquesina for the Mezclansoic DJ Tour taking them on an adventure to major U.S. cities.
