Paul & Lee have been working together for almost 20 years, including a recent appearance in the Dominican Republic along with Deniece Williams at The Hard Rock Punta Cana as the main show fundraiser for victims of Haiti's devastating earthquake… Lee Williams has an amazing musical history, beginning as lead singer of his own '60s soul band "Lee Williams and the Cymbals", with many chart topping hits, followed by a stint as lead singer of the Intruders, with hits such as "Cowboys to Girls", and "I'll Always Love My Mama," and culminating in his current chair as lead singer for The Manhattans, with Billboard #1 hits like "Kiss and Say Goodbye," and "Shining Star."

Joining Paul and Lee is a veritable who's who in the music industry, with NY-session-ace John Tropea on guitar; John has dozens of his own solo recordings out, and additionally, has been one of NYC's first-call musicians, working with John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Billy Cobham, James Brown, Liza Minnelli, Michael Brecker, Paul Simon, Roberta Flack, Tom Scott…. Mark Egan is renowned as one of the greatest bass players in history, who hails from University of Miami, where he, Jaco Pastorius, and Will Lee all attended jazz school together! His band Elements was one of the premier progressive jazz groups in the 80's and 90's, and also featured Clifford Carter on keys, who is appearing in this concert as well!… Clifford Carter anchored the keyboard chair for James Taylor for 12 years, and has recorded and toured with Natalie Cole, Art Garfunkel, Michael Franks, Paul Simon, Bill Evans….

This is a return appearance of the Paul Peress Project, and a not-to-be-missed evening of music spanning 4 generations, from early Soul to R-n-B, to Funk to NYC's hippest Jazz on today's music scene….

Grammy Nominated Paul Peress Project has released 3 CD's and appeared in over 20 countries including many notable festivals such as: Jamaica Jazz & Blues, BET St Lucia, Heineken Jazz, St Kitts Music Festival, Hard Rock Punta Cana, Lincoln Center, River to River...
