DJ Poodlecannon

poodlecanon

Poodlecannon (Marc Nasdor) has been collecting global music since the mid-1980s, when he spent a good deal of time in Hungary, spanning through the 1990s. After a fateful excursion to Bulgaria right before 9/11, his interest broadened to include Balkan and Romany (Gypsy) music. Since 2004, he has been DJ'ing international party music at several venues around New York City. From 2006-1020 he was resident DJ at Mehanata Bulgarian Bar, the original stomping ground of Eugene Hütz and Gogol Bordello. Since the summer of 2011, he has been music director and weekend DJ at Pilsener Haus, a large beer garden in Hoboken, New Jersey.
