Its time to Crush again! This December we will be dancing with The Hood Internet.

ABX (pronounced like three consecutive letters) and STV SLV (pronounced “steve sleeve”) are collectively known as The Hood Internet. For the past five years, the duo have been chewing up the indie, pop, rap and R&B landscapes and spitting out pure fire. Like laptop-armed alchemists, they draw from their expansive interest in the many faces of modern music and re-imagine songs for mass public consumption through thehoodinternet.com.

The Melker Project is the brainchild of world-renowned DJ and remixer Scott Melker. Known for being among the first DJs to champion the mashup style using vinyl – long before the advent of Serato and digital DJing – Melker is known for his mashups and remixes many of which have reached No. 1 on the Hype Machine Popular Chart. He released The Melker Project[3](full length DJ mix) in 2010, reaching over 10,000 downloads in the first week, and his 2012 remixes and mashups “Somebody That I Used To Know Vs. Dead Wrong – Gotye Vs. Notorious B.I.G. (Popped and Screwed Remix),”[4] ”Say Hello vs. Because (Jay-Z vs. The Beatles),[5][6][7]” and “High for This vs. Pop Bottles (Ellie Goulding vs. Birdman & Lil Wayne)[8][9]” are among the most popular tracks on the internet.
