Legends And Visions

Their 3rd album "Legends And Visions" brings CELTICA also to the Big Apple: Celtica will play a full show at the Drom presenting their brand new CD in context of the Tartan Week, the biggest Scottish event in New York.

In 2013, both the debut album "Rising" and the 2nd CD "Oceans Of Fire" were on top of CD-Baby´s
top-selling charts in the Celtic Rock category (#1 and 2).

Their rendition of "What shall we do with the drunken sailor" has been in the top charts of "Schottenradio" (one of the biggest Celtic radios, located in Germany) for nearly 2 years straight (!). "Cape Horn", an original composition, made it to the top of their charts within just 3 weeks and was long enough at number one of the charts to get a special award of the radio station.

Thus, the expectations for the next album were very high; "We worked really hard to make 'Legends
And Visions' sound even better than our first CDs, and we invested more time and money, and so the final result is amazing, it sounds absolutely terrific! It´s a killer album that will blow you away!", Gajus Stappen, band leader and guitarist, is very happy about the brand new Celtica album:

With their unique sound of blazing bagpipes, mighty drums and the power of a rock band, CELTICA's new album takes you on a journey to sunken, mysterious times. Besides all original compositions there are 3 cover songs: A U2 medley, a heavy rock version of "Whiskey In The Jar" and a great live version of "Don´t Stop Believing', recorded during their previous tours all over the USA.

From Europe‘s Best-Kept-Secret to International Headliner Act

In 2013 Celtica toured the USA for the first time, from Florida to Alaska, from Rhode Island to San Francisco, performing at most of the biggest Celtic festivals, driving a total of over 25 000 miles in their band van, and crossing the Atlantic six times.

In the same year Celtica played all over Europe from northern Germany to the South of Spain, from
Italy to France, traveling a total of more than 13000 miles.

"Your show was one of the best performances we ever had!“
Alfons Egger, Promotor, Klagenfurt/AUT

"A brilliant show, you were the Hammer! Everyone is talking about you!"
Rick Field, Promotor Hohenlimburg/ GER

“Celtica is THE new band on the international Celtic music scene!“
Gail McClellan, Promotor, Hartford,CT/USA
