AyoInMotion (7PM)

The passion and energy embedded in AYo’s lyrical content and performance presence commands attention and has captured the eyes and ears of both the hip-hop and spoken-word poetry communities. He’s served on a panel with the likes of Lupe Fiasco, interviewed Russell Simmons for MTV, and toured nationally; performing at legendary venues like the The Shrine, Nuyorican Poet’s Café, Stanford University, and Mendelssohn Theater at the University of Michigan.
AYo and The AY0INM0TI0N band play energetic live hip-hop music on a bed rock of jazz/afrobeat/soul infused instrumentals. Drawing from AYo's powerful lyrics and charismatic stage presence, the band is personified by amazingly talented musicians who believe that showmanship goes hand in hand with musicality. The lyrical content in AYo's music illustrates his experiences as a child growing up during military tyranny in Nigeria and subsequently moving to the inner city of Flint, Michigan. AY0INM0TI0N is a band to watch, feel and experience. His 5-piece band features a back-up vocalist, bass, guitar, keyboard, drums and an occasional horn section.

La La Lush (10PM)

La La Lush brings an old-school intensity to the modern pop music scene. Their revolutionary sound binds the past with the present, while adding an exciting taste of the future. Blending heavy guitar riffs, syncopated funk rhythms, and the soulful touch of a raspy-pop female vocalist, La La Lush's eclectic sound has captivated the attention of the music industry and music lovers alike.
Lead singer Leea Borst, keyboardist Stephen Federowicz, guitarist Steve Scarola, bassist Joe Farrell, and drummer Cashel Barnett fused together their musical talents during their time at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY. After playing a countless number of shows throughout New York City, the band has accumulated a large, dedicated following.
Yet the experience expands far beyond the confines of the city limits with guitarist Steve Scarola, a previous member of the highly successful Top 40 pop-rock band, Push Play. Scarola has shared the stage with many household names such as Justin Beiber, Third Eye Blind, and Aretha Franklin, helping him procure a cult fan base and impressive social media following that has successfully carried over to La La Lush.
La La Lush shared the stage with the talented Saints of Valory, Andy Grammer and GROUPLOVE in May 2013. La La Lush has also received commercial attention as they were recently selected by GEICO to represent the New York City indie music scene for Geico's 2013 "INDIE ACROSS AMERICA" campaign, wherein they were interviewed by TV personality Dave Holmes, and featured in a mini web series. In addition, their single "Sentinel" was selected for a Mike & Ike commercial featuring Nelly.
Their debut album, which dropped Feb. 9, 2013, is self-funded, self-produced, and self-titled; containing 11 original songs that collectively capture the multi-faceted sound that is La La Lush. The band is currently recording a new EP at The End studios in Brooklyn, NY with a tentative release date of late 2013/early 2014.
Each song embodies a new sound, a new groove, a new side of the band. No matter what type of music you identify with, you're guaranteed to find what you're looking for in La La Lush.La La Lush brings an old-school intensity to the modern pop music scene. SKATERS (11PM)

SKATERS formed in NYC in 2012. The group's birth can be traced to a hectic 24 hours in Los Angeles in the summer of 2011, when singer and songwriter Michael Ian Cummings met English guitarist Josh Hubbard at a party at a "really fancy-ass house," as Cummings recalls.
A few months later, the still band-less Cummings got a call from Hubbard announcing that he'd be arriving in NYC the following day from the U.K. He'd be in town for a month and a half and wanted the group to play a gig. So they hooked up with Drummer Noah Rubin and local bassist Dan Burke, booked three shows, learned some songs Cummings and Rubin had been tinkering with (and a handful of Pixies covers), and SKATERS was formed. Later that year, the band signed to Warner Bros. Records.
Their debut record, MANHATTAN, shares stories of the city where they met. "We were all bartenders, so the songs are tales of experiences we had or saw, and other people who were characters in our life during the first year we were in this band," Cummings says.
The disc was recorded by John Hill (Santigold, Wavves) in the API room at Greenwich Village's iconic Electric Lady Studios, named after its one-of-a-kind board, which Laura Nyro had custom-made to match the drapes in her NYC apartment.
"It's like short stories," Cummings adds, deadpanning, "It's Salinger's Nine Stories but it's Eleven Stories by SKATERS. "And the writing is much worse."
