Jaclyn Rose

Jaclyn Rose is a Filipina American Artist with an eclectic gathering of sound that promotes a state of well-being and wholeness. Her style, ranging far and wide, falls under the select categories of R&B/Soul, Jazz, and Afrobeat, with a humble beginning based in Classical music. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Jaclyn both studied and graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach's Bob Cole Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor's degree of Music in Jazz Studies. She's performed throughout southern California and New York City gracing the stage and inspiring her fans with her vibrant performances, captivating lyrics, and uplifting sound.

Jaclyn Rose's highly anticipated debut album entitled, "The Story of The Rose Movement," was digitally released July 2013. What is The Rose Movement? It is a campaign to help people reach their goals launched by Jaclyn, herself, upon the initial writing and production process of this album. The musically diverse album conceptually depicts a thoughtprovoking story of a world that was saved by a single rose. In "The Story of The Rose Movement," Jaclyn seamlessly integrates Jazz, Pop, R&B/Soul, Afrobeat, and a little bit of Punk Rock into a soulful and worldly fusion of dance music.

" ... Jaclyn Rose, who's well-rounded in almost all genres. Her music felt vibrant, eclectic and cultural all at once. The way she engaged the audience makes me rate her 10 for a great performance." -Omari Atiba & Jaye Bryant, audioEMIT Entertainment

"Jaclyn Rose reminded me of Nina Simone, a jazz singer with classical training and soulful voice." -Prosy Abarquez-DeLaCruz, Asian Journal
