Just like their band name, derived from the word ‘Pinhan’ with the meaning of 'secret', they made their way in the music industry quietly and built a dedicated fan baseAfter Pinhani's music was used as the soundtrack of TV Series 'Kavak Yelleri', the band's popularity increased rapidly.

In March 2013, the fourth album 'Canlı Yayın' was released; composed of the recordings of the acoustic concert performed in Selim Aydın's (bass player) apartment. The idea was inspired by concerts that took place in Çekirdek Art House back in 1980s where only acoustical instruments were used. Two new songs, alternative versions of songs which were released previously by the band and covers were recorded for this album during the concert.

A well known Black Sea folk music singer Ayşenur Kolivar and Richard Laniepce ...

On their 5th album "Kediköy", the band explores new areas while preserving the flavour of their previous works. Most of the songs are written by Sinan Kaynakçı yet the album also includes Turkish versions of French musician Calogero's two songs and an old folk song from Black Sea region. Through the album the band tells naive stories about love and everyday life but they also want to draw the attention to contemporary issues of the world and humanity.
