Taste of Science
*No Reservations For This Event*

While a large majority of Americans think climate change is happening, recent studies show that most don’t think it will affect them personally. This event will feature talks from two adventurous field scientists who have been on the front lines of climate change research. Join us to hear from Prof. Aaron Putnam (Climate Change Institute, University of Maine) and Dr. Julie Chase (The Explorers Club) tell tales of glaciers and our changing world.

Taste of Science (formerly Pint of Science US) is a science initiative that brings scientists out of the lab and into the informal atmosphere of a bar. We aim to create an environment full of inquiry, healthy debate, and scientific enthusiasm, where learning and critical thinking go hand in hand with social drinking. So, come drink a beer (or two!), make a friend, and feed your science curiosity!
