7pm - RIVAH (AUSTRALIA)

"Enough punch to make you think she was born with a heavy sprinkling of New Orleans and a touch of Jamaica inside.” - Sydney Morning Herald

A fearless performer, RIVAH’s demanding stage presence stops audiences dead in their tracks. Influenced by the authenticity of artists such as Lauryn Hill, Chance the Rapper and Selah Sue, she has been nominated as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for songs that are not even released yet and is sought by major label publishers including Sony/ATV and Universal Music for co-writes around the country.

Inspired by time spent in New York, she has teamed up on collaborations with Snarky Puppy's Grammy award winning delight Cory Henry and acclaimed producer Pip Norman (Jarryd James) and is now poised to unveil her debut sounds at Mondo.NYC.

8pm - Tusks (UK)

Dissolve, the debut album from rising Londoner TUSKS, is appropriately named: the sort of record you can’t help but melt away into, disappearing into its mist of feather-soft vocals and soundscapey guitar climaxes and coming back cleansed.  After making a name for herself with 2014 EP Ink, which clocked up over a million streams on Spotify and grabbed the attention of Lauren Laverne, Annie Mac, the Line of Best Fit and many more, the challenge here was to delve deeper into the storm of emotions around her than before. “I’ve definitely written some very raw and personal lyrics on this album, whereas before they’ve been subtle and hidden.” There’s no hiding TUSKS’ talent on Dissolve, on which one of Britain’s most exciting new indie voices hits a thrilling new stride.

9pm - In Hoodies (TURKEY)

Murat Kılıkçıer born in Bursa / Turkey records and performs under the name "In Hoodies". Debut full length "A Lunar Manoeuvre” is released in Turkey on CD and ranked as one of the best albums of 2016 by many music blogs, writers and newspapers. After Turkey release, "A Lunar Manoeuvre” LP is released in UK in February 2017 by Curious Fox Records (UK) via Rough Trade.

"The moniker “In Hoodies” hides under it smoldering rage, noncompliance, destructive energy required to dispose of what’s not working and a constant search for a peaceful place, where one can be free from society’s exhausting expectations. The music comes from the mind of a gentle soul, both a wordsmith and a creator of melodies. The mellow and whispery songs go hand in hand with anthem-like stompers. The intricate, multilayered body of work on debut album A Lunar Manoeuvre comes alive as a fire breathing monster in live shows with a five piece band. Stripped down duo or trio performances in smaller venues allow for a more intimate, fragile yet powerful experience. Constantly working on new material, In Hoodies has a lot more to offer both sonically and lyrically.” Artemis Günebakanlı (Radio Eksen, Manyetik Bant)
