Dangerous Curves

Dangerous Curves is America's original competition specifically for plus size pole dancers, founded by Roz "The Diva" in 2011. Unlike other pole competitions, competitors are of ALL ability levels. Rather than looking at the difficulty of the tricks involved, competitors are selected and judged on their ability to engage and entertain the audience, and creatively use the performance space, making Dangerous Curves one of the most entertaining pole shows out there! Join us for our 6th event, celebrating plus size pole dancers as they embrace and flaunt their curves!

NASM certified Roz "The Diva" Mays has dedicated many late nights at the gym to becoming a stronger and healthier athlete. Pole dancing is her sport of choice to teach, followed by TRX, strength & conditioning, flexibility and personal training. Among her finest contributions to the pole world has been creating Dangerous Curves: A Celebration of Plus Size Pole Dancers. Her talents have lead to a SAG membership for professional stunt work in Law and Order: SVU, The Big C and an Adam Sandler movie. She loves to teach obnoxiously loud classes at Body & Pole and IncrediPole in New York City. Recently, she was a featured performer on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Season 10. When she isn’t half naked and sweaty, Diva’s usual making pancakes with Beyonce.

Tausha Ostrander is the current event organizer for Dangerous Curves: Plus Size Pole Competition. She has been pole dancing for 5 years, and in 2015, she competed in and won the championship title in Dangerous Curves IV. Following her win, Roz the Diva bestowed the honor of Head Diva in Charge upon her, and now here she is putting together her second year of DC! Tausha teaches pole dance at her home studio of Vertical Fusion in Fort Collins, CO, and in her muggle life, she works as a movie theatre manager.
