It's been 23 years since the passing of our reina Selena, but she lives on siempre in our hearts. For a fourth consecutive year, we are doing it up for her birthday and honoring her legacy! From humble beginnings headlining her family's cumbia band in her parents' restaurant, to setting records in performances, sales and awards, to her iconic fashion style and her own fashion line... her talent shines, her inner and outer beauty captivates, her style influences, and her story inspires.

This year we are honored to feature her very own nephew, Principe Q, AB Quintanilla's son and 1/2 of the production duo Royal Highness, from Corpus Christi. Just as Selena & AB revolutionized the cumbia sound with techno cumbia in the 80s and 90s, Principe Q is a pioneer in today's Digi Cumbia and tropical bass dance movements, even creating his own hybrid genre of Screwmbia.

The night also features a performance from Shomi Noise's acclaimed "Amor Prohibido" cover band; hosting and performances by the fabulous Lady Quesadilla; and a dance party with a soundtrack of music from her era to current day, her original hits and remixes, from Texas to Latin America, to the RNB, disco and dance music she loved.

If you're like us and would do anything for Salinas, come through in your costumes (What Would Selena Wear?!) and let's honor our young ancestor, the bold, the fierce, the gifted, the kind, the one, the eternal,
