An evening of Arabic and World Music from renowned musicians in solidarity with the Syrian people during their time of need.

The people of Syria need your support! More than a year into the Syrian revolution:

* Human rights groups have reported that more than 11,000 civilians have been murdered
* Approximately 100,000 persons are missing or confirmed detained
* More than 25,000 externally displaced refugees in Turkey, Lebanon, and Jordan
* Over 600,000 Internally displaced civilians!

Omar Offenum


Omar is a Syrian-American Hip-Hop artist - born in Saudi Arabia, raised in Washington DC and living in Los Angeles. Known for taking audiences on a lyrical journey from the jasmine-tree-lined courtyards of Nizar Qabbani's Damascene homes, to the flooded riverbanks of Langston Hughes' Harlem Renaissance poems - Offendum has been featured on several major news outlets (BBC / Yahoo / ABC News / Aljazeera / PBS), toured the world to promote his ground-breaking music, helped raise thousands of dollars for various humanitarian relief organizations (PCRF / KinderUSA / ANERA / Islamic Relief), lectured at a number of prestigious academic institutions (Harvard / MIT / Stanford / Columbia / American University of Beirut / NYU-AbuDhabi / Qatar Education City), and most recently been involved in creating several critically-acclaimed songs about the popular democratic uprisings throughout the Middle East & North Africa. He is currently hard at work promoting his solo release - affectionately dubbed "SyrianamericanA"...

Omnia Hegazy


New York singer-songwriter Omnia Hijazi combines modern pop styles with the rich flavors of her Mediterranean heritage. With her powerful vocals and exquiste guitar playing, Omnia delivers fresh and engaging musical experience along with a message of empowerment.

Christine Moore


Praised by critics for her lush sound and powerful expression, soprano Christine Moore has performed opera and concert throughout the U.S. and Europe. Christine was born in Sacramento to an Egyptian-Lebanese mother and an
American father, Christine is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, and was a Regional Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Auditions.

Zikrayat Ensemble


Zikrayat is a NYC-based Arabic music and dance group that performs both classic and contemporary repertory, with a special focus on music and dance from Egyptian movie musicals of the 1930's-60's, presented in stage productions that evoke the feel of classic film.  Led by violinist, vocalist, and composer Sami Abu Shumays, and dancer Robin Dameshe Shumays, Zikrayat features a talented lineup of the finest arab musicians and dancers in New York.  Zikrayat is currently hosting a bi-monthly arabic dance party at Katra Lounge in Manhattan.

Dylan Connor


Dylan released his third full length record, Primitive Times, on April 10th of this year. The bonus track is also a fundraising single for The humanitarian crisis in Syria called "Feza Feza". The video for "Feza Feza" has been aired on several Television networks including Al Arabiya and has garnered over 7,000 hits on YouTube. Dylan has participated in several fundraising events from Salt Lake City to New York in an attempt to raise awareness and money for Syrians in need.

Ghuydar Beshmaf

Singalong with the amazing Syrian folk artist Ghuydar! His repertoire of songs is from the hearts of the Syria people and their everyday struggle. On his dumbak only and with his powerful voice, he creates a complete concert. You’ll never want him to stop!     

DJ Boo


Born and raised in New York, Boo was exposed to everything from Mozart and Donna Summer to Led Zeppelin, Kiss, and Brand Nubian. He began his musical career as a drummer and quickly moved to DJing. His dedication to turntablism has led him to share the stage with the likes of Kool G. Rap, Ghostface Killah, Aesop Rock, Mr. Lif, Talib Kweli, Common, Uberzone, DJ Shortkut , and DJ Big Wiz– to name a few. It has also allowed him to be involved with artists like Super Natural, Adagio, Consequence (of A Tribe Called Quest fame), Sharmaji and Quannum recording artists ApSci (Applied Science). Boo is currently working with The Juggaknots, Koba, Eternia and Nomadic Wax’s Global Underground All-Stars.
