Born in London and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa during the most horrific and diabolic era of apartheid, intolerant of the political injustice, Christine searched for the first opportunity to pursue her passion for music that would take her to new horizons. At 17, Christine moved to Milan, Italy, and began training as an opera singer. As she developed, Christine found that she had the need to find her own voice that would speak her own thoughts from her heart. Her ambition to expand her reach into the world music scene on a different level drew her to New York City in 2005 where she attended Berklee on a Scholarship and also produced Dance Mama!. The ten track original collection of South African Funk-Jazz captured the essence and energy of her dearly missed South Africa, enriched by her experiences traveling around the world. Dance Mama! produced three tracks that reached the finals and semi-finals of the US International (ISC) Songwriting and UK Songwriting Competitions, respectively, receiving airplay in many countries, including the the US, South Africa, and various European countries.

In 2010, Christine was featured on CNN International, NBC’s New York Non-Stop, ESPN and Time Out New York. She has since had the privilege of performing at many prestigious music venues around the world, among them the Blue Note in New York City. Christine’s voice of her deeply personal experiences and transcontinental life has culminated in her songs and remains a source of profound happiness and gratitude, with a sunny disposition that echoes throughout her work.
