BGNB Productions Presents: The Double Album Release Party

New Albums From Johnny Popcorn & Cherice Marie
with Special Guest Kreaux

A sexy night of Electro-Pop, Rock, and Funk/Soul; the Double Album Release Party for Johnny Popcorn and Cherice Marie with special guest Kreaux at DROM NYC on Sept. 22, 2012 from 7-10PM will include live performances, special music video premieres, and giveaways. Come celebrate this release of new music from these exciting artists!

Johnny Popcorn-The Crow
Funky, Rock and Roll, with a touch of sarcasm; Johnny Popcorn is the creation of Hezekiah and Tone Whitfield, the two Philadelphia music residents have created a project blending sounds of funk, soul, and what Johnny Popcorn calls “ a potent drug more powerful than domestic painkillers”. With their own formula; a concoction of highly fueled croons, layered with their own views on topics ranging from teenage growing pains, masturbation, weed, humdrum suburbia life , and reflecting on family values--Johnny Popcorn’s  inspired masterpiece “The Crow” is cemented with its fair share of jewels.  Lead by vocalist and songwriter Hezekiah (who is no stranger to the music industry with 3 full length solo albums as a hip hop artist), and backed by bass guitarist and all around producer Tony Whitfield, Johnny Popcorn hits ears with a diverse spark of rawness.  Check out Johnny Popcorn here:

Cherice Marie -Time Machine
This ain’t a joke; with training in comedic theater and a promising print/runway model career, Cherice Marie’s debut musical creation is sure surprise and entertain.  Teaming up with producer Mesaun Mcintosh, Cherice Marie revives an Electro-Pop and Soul sound jubilee and takes her audience back in time with her first album “Time Machine”.  Check out Cherice Marie here:

Special Guest-Kreaux
Futurists, classists, and romantics, Kreaux's melting-pot sonic aesthetic and fashion forward visuals set them apart as utterly unique. The fluidity with which Kreaux slides from industrial to funk to alt rock to soul to electronic, while maintaining an undeniable pop sensibility, denotes a loquaciousness that demonstrates a commanding sense of composition and a relationship to music reminiscent of those few icons who's brand tasted of everything and sounded like nothing before, namely, Bowie, Prince, and Depeche Mode.
