Shane Larue (Bass)

Born and bred in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, this five piece folk-rock band is gracing the crowded, chaotic streets of New York with a comfortable, laid-back sound straight from the Mile-High City.Classically trained vocalist and tambourine extraordinaire Jamie Unruh (pronunciation of last name TBD) embraces a pure tone that's been hurting people's feelings since she took to the stage in high-school. Rhythm guitar player, and fellow vocalist Brennan Brooks crossed Jamie's path at the University of Colorado in Boulder when they cried together, drunk in a friend's car about how no one understands them because they're artists. The solid pitch and smooth tone of Jamie's voice is a perfect counterpart for Brennan's raspy, eyes-closed-sounding vocals, creating harmonies that are as unique and emotional as Jamie's emotions. Backed by lead-guitar player Dan (the scapegoat) Bollwerk, cajon, and auxiliary percussionist Andy Geller, and rock solid Shane LaRue on the bass, this folk quintet has a sound like no one else on the market today.

Born in Rochester, New York, now residing in Manhattan, pianist and singer/songwriter Frankie Favasuli began writing and composing original music at the age of 13. Today you can hear Frankie accompanied by drummer Brendan McGuckin and bassist Richard Emery in any number of New York City venues. Their unique pop sound contains elements of rock and roll, funk, jazz, blues and hip-hop. When seen performing live, Frankie Favasuli and The Big Tree Band provide an intimate experience between themselves and the audience, with songs that capture thought and feeling. Together the music and lyrics form a sound that has been described as "simply complex." Frankie Favasuli and The Big Tree Band create music that comes straight from the heart; with a sound that is constantly growing like the people and the trees around us.

DIE PRETTY - 10 pm

Die Pretty is:
Sarah - Vocals, Bass
Sal - Vocals, Guitar
Tommy - Guitar
Jonathan - Drums

Straight from the streets of Brooklyn New York City Die Pretty formed in 2008 when brother and sister combo Sal and Sarah came together and formed the band. Their first release, "Bittersweet" was picked up and released by Unconform Records in 2009 out of Frankfurt, Germany. With great reviews coming out of Europe, a global release on iTunes and through InGroove distribution, Die Pretty was gaining a fan base quickly overseas. So time to kick it into gear...Die Pretty went back into the studio with producer/engineer Oliver Straus (Matt and Kim, All Time Low, Cobra Starship, All American Rejects) at Mission Sound Studios in Williamsburg Brooklyn. In November 2010, Die Pretty signed a distribution deal with JMD distribution. And in 2011 Die Pretty released the EP, "Battle Over Brooklyn and 3 music videos to accompany the release. They received rave reviews and were even named one of the "TOP 100 LIVE UNSIGNED BANDS OF 2011" by Music Connection Magazine. Die Pretty jumped back in the studio to finish a full length record in the fall of 2011."After a crazy and busy 2011 Die Pretty have no means to slow down!! They just finished up their 2nd full length studio album "BEYOND FATE." Their new album will hit iTunes worldwide in early 2012. They stayed close to home and finished their album in Brooklyn, again with Producer Oliver Straus.
