About Hip Hop is 4 Lovers

Lenée Voss and Uche Wogwugwu are site contributor and site manager/ founder, respectively, of Together, they host Hip Hop is for Lovers radio, a weekly internet broadcast.  Hip Hop is for Lovers Radio discusses love, sex, intimacy, and all related topics within the context of hip hop culture. (HH4L) is a multimedia website that is creating a dialog about sexuality, intimacy and relationships in the culture of Hip Hop. We use the music and art that pulses our culture to propel a discussion of sexuality that educates and motivates. HH4L is the premier website for all things Love and Sex for those that live and love this "thang" we call Hip Hop.

DJ Tara
Having performed at diverse and unconventional venues around New York City, Tara is always eager to find new and exciting crowds to spin for. Early on in her DJ career, Tara realized disk jockeying is more than just playing a mix of records; it is a matter of building trust between herself and the crowd and sharing the knowledge and love the she has for the music and the feelings it projects onto the listeners. The crowd trusts Tara to become part of another great night in their lives, and she returns that favor by giving them a taste of the familiar as well as something new that may be something they have never realized was needed or missed in their musical memory.Tara has spun at various venues across New York City including Brooklyn Bowl, Santos Party House, Le Poisson Rouge, and the Hotel on Rivington and most recently traveled to Paris, France to DJ some international parties and concerts.

DJ Good Grief
When Dirty South twerked its way onto pop radars in the late ‘90s, it sounded like rap on a mix of soda andcodeine. But one of its Houston dealers on the scene had already paved his way thru the cityscape of hiphop, house and party sounds and established himself on the decks as a true "waxaholic".
DJ Good Grief is a veteran on the decks, but keeps things moving ahead whether he's playing a digital orallvinyl set. You'll likely find him at some of his residencies like Carrington's Houston layin down a classicmix, at the uptown Galleria spot LivingRoom turning it up or at Double Cross Lounge in midtown for hispopular allvinyl night for hip hop connoisseurs called Waxaholics.
His appeal has caught the attention of not only locals but also heavy hitters. Grief has performed at DefJam's Scarface "The Fix" album Release in 2002, Red Bull Emsee alongside Bun B and 9th Wonder in2010, and more recently at Jack Daniels Art Beats & Lyrics Tour in 2012.This baller may seem like a typical Houston DJreps the South, digs deep, is proficient in asswhoopin onthe decksbut what's this we hear each time he steps up to play? He'll have you hollerin along with CharlieBrown, "Oh, Good Grief"!
