"Exudes a graceful simplicity." - NPR

Jessica Carvo is a Long Island native and New York City based singer-songwriter. Though classically trained, her original sound draws from her experience in a variety of genres including, jazz, a-cappella, country, cabaret and pop. She has appeared on PBS Television for EMI's Manhattan/Blue Note Records, sang lead vocals on NBC's "The Sing Off" and most recently opened for chart topping country-soul singer Marc Broussard at the Highline Ballroom.
In 2014, Jessica spent her time in the studio when she wasn't touring the east and west coasts. Her song "Fall For Me" was featured on NPR. She released her first fully produced EP, "Nightfall", on December 16th.

Manner Effect
When deeply invested musicians truly give themselves over to a band, the group inevitably becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Manner Effect fuses five voices from vastly different backgrounds into a startlingly original musical experience.
