Mad Satta EP Release Concert

Mad Satta is a New York-based future-soul band comprised of eight members who bring original, positive, eclectic, thoughtful music to a wide array of listeners. This ultra-tight outfit is held down by edgy bass lines and a sophisticated mix of guitar, organ, drums and horns that surround and support the rich alto of powerhouse vocalist Joanna Teters. Teters confidently fronts the band with grace and depth of soul beyond her years, with her own musical roots deep in funk, reggae, and jazz. From Yoshi’s in California to the Blue Note in New York City, Mad Satta serves it’s audiences with playful, energetic performances of original compositions and unique covers that honor musical legends like Curtis Mayfield and Amy Winehouse. Mad Satta’s debut album, “Comfort” was released in 2014 and their forthcoming EP “Break Me Free” is being released on

Quincy Vidal

Quincy Vidal was first established in 2009, after Le’Asha Julius and CE met in the Acting Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College. A year later, they wrote and recorded their first album, The Cookin’ in Brooklyn LP (Oct 2010). Immediately, they gained many comparisons to artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Outkast, Fugees, and Digable Planets. After graduating, QV moved back to Brooklyn and began working on their sophomore effort, Sentimental Moods (Nov 2012) – a gritty anthology of Brooklyn life after
college. Two years later, the duo decided it was time to share their individual musicality’s and released a double album entitled Utopia| LDZ (May 2014). Since then QV has teamed up with fellow musicians from Purchase and have now pieced together what they consider a prime incarnation of Quincy Vidal.
