"Enough punch to make you think she was born with a heavy sprinkling of New Orleans and a touch of Jamaica inside.” - Sydney Morning Herald

A fearless performer, RIVAH’s demanding stage presence stops audiences dead in their tracks. Influenced by the authenticity of artists such as Lauryn Hill, Chance the Rapper and Selah Sue, she has been nominated as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for songs that are not even released yet and is sought by major label publishers including Sony/ATV and Universal Music for co-writes around the country.

Inspired by time spent in New York, she has teamed up on collaborations with Snarky Puppy's Grammy award winning delight Cory Henry and acclaimed producer Pip Norman (Jarryd James) and is now poised to unveil her debut sounds at Mondo.NYC.

8pm - Tusks (UK)

Dissolve, the debut album from rising Londoner TUSKS, is appropriately named: the sort of record you can’t help but melt away into, disappearing into its mist of feather-soft vocals and soundscapey guitar climaxes and coming back cleansed.  After making a name for herself with 2014 EP Ink, which clocked up over a million streams on Spotify and grabbed the attention of Lauren Laverne, Annie Mac, the Line of Best Fit and many more, the challenge here was to delve deeper into the storm of emotions around her than before. “I’ve definitely written some very raw and personal lyrics on this album, whereas before they’ve been subtle and hidden.” There’s no hiding TUSKS’ talent on Dissolve, on which one of Britain’s most exciting new indie voices hits a thrilling new stride.

Russell Elliot

Celebrating the viral success of his debut video and 2017 SXSW performance, Elliot and his loyal fan base of mindful audiophiles are eagerly anticipating his sophomore EP and a new series of music videos.

Elliot's 2015 debut EP has garnered 90K+ streams on Spotify. The music video for infectious lead single, Around (premiered with OUT Magazine) has over a million views on YouTube. Russell has performed around NYC in venues such as Webster Hall, Mercury Loung, and The Knitting Factory. He's played Boston University, James Madison University, and Sofar Sounds showcases throughout the Northeast and Midwest.

When asked about the message behind his music, Elliot has said the following: "You won't find misogyny on my records. We need to start addressing that great music is being written without it. We need to stop perpetuating hurtful cultural norms in music. You will find an irreverent embracing of the complexities surrounding sex, love, and sexuality on my record. In short, you'll find the truth."
