It has been 23 years since the passing of our forever Queen of Tejano music, Selena. Selena’s famous quote was “The impossible is always possible.” She has made millions believe that if you have a dream, never let anyone take it away and to always believe that you can always make your dreams come true with handwork, dedication and the support of your loving family. With an amazing story, Selena and her family always remained humble on the exponential success that they have earned throughout the years. Although they did encountered being boo’ed off the stage, to almost little to no one believing in them in the beginning, they always strived to one day make it. Selena is more than a singer who’s made headlines, won countless awards including winning her first Grammy in 1994 making her the first Tejano singer to win one. Selena was a fashion designer, an activist, leader and to many she was an example of The American Dream. Her story inspires many people, from children, young adults and the lucky few who has seen Selena live before her unfortunate passing in 1995. Selena’s fans throughout the years has made it their ultimate goal to always keep her memory alive in whichever way that we can. Whether it’s playing her music, paying tribute, wearing her on our shirts, watching old videos that we find on the internet. Selena has become someone that most can relate to, many of us can say that we see ourselves in Selena because off the stage and spotlight, she was a regular person who enjoyed the smaller things in life like, taking care of her dogs, going on trips or even just kicking it back with family because the one thing that was truly important to her was how close she was to their family.

If you’re like us and would do “Anything for Selenas” then come through in your best Selena gear, bring out from the closet your best busti-cacas, cowboy boots and your perfect shade of red lipstick and join us to honor the Queen who will live on forever in our hearts, Selena Quintanilla-Perez! We invite you to come and see all of the wonderful ideas we have planned for you all. We promise you a night full of fun, tears of joy, laughs and most importantly an event that you will not forget!

Vilma Jasmine & Lesley Camille.
