A graduate of The New School University for Jazz and Contemporary Music, Amherd performs in New York’s premiere clubs and at international festivals all over the world. She composed, arranged and produced her albums “Skylines” and “Now and from Now on” which continue to receive great press reviews and have topped the play lists of several US Radio Stations. "Eliane Amherd is the sort of performer that we’ll be hearing a lot more from if there’s any justice in the world."- Jazz, Blues & the truth

Dawn Drake & ZapOte

Slovenian-American bassist, conguera, and singer-songwriter Dawn Drake leads this worldbeat-meets-funk ensemble, which breaks down cultural barriers by incorporating everything from Afro-Cuban jazz to hip-hop to samba into a soul-shaking mix. Her original music and her poetic lyrics spread messages of universal consciousness, delivered with heartfelt vocals, and are joined with the irresistible grooves of latin percussion, funky bass, swinging hornlines and virtuosic improvisation.

AS LOLAS

Five hardcore NYC Pros joined forces to rock your world with screaming guitar solos, thundering drum rolls, funkafied bass lines and 4 voice heavy harmonies to revive Brazilian Psychedelic Seventies Rock à la Os Mutantes! Ever since their first concert in Harlem’s “Shrine” in February 2014, the band was taking NYC over by storm, appeared in venues like BBKing, SOB’s, Nublu, Brooklyn Bowl etc. and toured Europe 2014 and 2015.
2018 As Lolas chilled out for a while, due to the jam packed calendar of all band members. AS LOLAS are back at DROM  - don't miss this!
