Tatev World Flight LP Release Concert

Tatev is an art entrepreneur who connects and realizes common visions of creative minds. She was born in Armenia on July 7th 1987, to a family of artists. She showed great interest for music and began formal classical lessons in both voice and piano at the age of 6. Tatev is a film composer, a performer, a pianist and a vocalist who loves to solve puzzles, learn languages and dance! Many of Tatev’s compositions are written to ornate and strengthen the visual experience of motion pictures. She has scored for numerous award winning short films and animations, and has performed individually as well as with many artists throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Tatev's live music performances can't be categorized in any or one genre of music; but rather a vast sound of universal music that has its influences from jazz, classical, funk, pop and Armenian folk music. Tatev moved to the United States in 2003 after achieving much recognition in Armenia. Tatev is a 2009 full-scholarship graduate of the Jazz Studies Program at William Paterson University, and NJPAC’s Jazz for Teens program of 2006. Tatev's "Sounds of Sevan" project got the Best Music prize of London International Motion PicturesAwards of 2019; she was also a chosen Fellow at OneBeat Colombia sponsored by the U.S. Bureau of Culture & Education program. Tatev is a proud instructor of Summer Programs at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies
