ALISON JAMES
Alison James is a New York City based singer/songwriter who has a hauntingly melodic voice and an evocative sound that brings freshness to the indie pop/singer-songwriter genre. Her approach to songwriting involves an honest soul searching and a yearning for depth and meaning, influenced by her Yale education and time spent living in Paris before arriving in New York. James is a classically trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist who is also fluent in French and Italian, and her songs written in French are some of her most streamed and most requested by fans at her concerts. Her latest EP released in 2023, Theories of Relativity, explores existential questions and stories through her piano-based, digitally-flecked production style, and she plans to begin releasing new music in the summer of 2024.
