A storyteller, entertainer and New York City kid at heart, singer-songwriter Sophie Beem has soul that belies her 20 years. Having spent her childhood training her voice, writing music and playing piano and guitar, Sophie started performing at venues across the City when she was just 13-years-old. It was at downtown Manhattan’s Bitter End where her rich vocals and intimate verses captured the attention of a Parkwood executive who introduced her to her first mentor, Beyoncé.

Under the pop icon’s wing, Sophie released her self-titled debut EP in 2016 and performed it for massive audiences, opening for Charlie Puth’s U.S. tour in 20 cities and for Beyoncé’s Forma- tion World Tour in Milan. Sophie’s songs have amassed nearly 5 million streams on Spotify – and with new music on the way, that figure is sure to rise. Her most popular record, “Girls Will Be Girls,” has been featured in films and TV shows, including box office hit Bad Moms and HBO’s Emmy-nominated series Insecure.

Sophie’s goal is to empower young women with her music – both through soulful ballads like “Glow” and pop anthems like “Girls Will Be Girls.” Blending intimate, acoustic-based story- telling with high-energy dance beats in songs like “Skyline” and “Stars,” this millennial pop artist is all about fusion and range – and she’s determined to take her unique artistry to a global stage.
